Week 2, Day 4

This was a really slow day in visual progress, though progress was made.  The plumber showed up and worked under the house all day routing new water lines and rerouting other lines.  There were three small pieces of visual evidence that someone was indeed here working today.

Number one is that he cut a new hole in the floor (which I didn't get a picture of open) to aid in getting into the crawl space.  The normal access is through the front coat closet, where you enter a very shallow area.  By creating a new hole, he was in an area where he could stand up pretty straight much from the time he entered the crawl space rather than after walking for several feet in a crouched position.

Number two is that there was a drawing on the floor of where the new prep sink cabinet will be located.  This was excited as we can now stand in a position in the kitchen area and say "This is where we will stand to wash produce from the backyard."
Number three was a sawed off pipe.  This pipe is used to vent the dishwasher. Due to the larger kitchen window, this pipe has to be rerouted and step #1 is cutting it off and removing the parts that were in the way of the new kitchen window area.
